tagged

I was tagged by Karin few weeks ago. Because I already showed some part of my workspaces in February ( workplace - workspace ), today I want to show a bigger view into my cellar printing studio. It is a little bit dark, little bit wet, full of things and printing machines, but it is my kingdom.

Nice place you got! We visited Prague after the big flood. I remember walking there and seeing similar cellars under renovation..

Lucky you to have your printing studio in your own cellar! As I always have to go to KKV (a collective workshop) and pay per hour and always clean everything away I've been forced to work less with copper graphics (timecomsuming viscosity prints!) since my son came. It's been more screen though - as I can prepar so much of it at home.

Aw - it looks beautiful. I'm so happy you own a press. I used to do (I don't know what it is called in english) Etching, I think? I loved it so so much, the smell of the tough black ink, I love the stained hands and the care one takes not to stain the thick, soft paper with them. Love it so. Love that you have one in your studio.

Thank you all for such a nice comments! I am glad you like my lair.
It has only one defect - I would need much more time to spend there.
All of you are wellcome to visit me there, whenever you´ll go by.
stardust:my friend had a studio in the cellar close to the Charles bridge and during the big flood it was completely destroied. The only one thing she could use after that, was her printing machine.
alexandra: I understand you perfectly
mansuetude:thank you!

Luckily yours is obviously on the other side of the city! I'm sorry for your friend. It was a sad sight. Hopefully they are all renovated now.
